The Vanuatu Citizenship Process
From first consultation to passport in hand, here is exactly what to expect, including documents, timeline and payment stages.
-
1
Consultation & Eligibility Review
We start with a free consultation (in person in Dubai, or by video for clients in the UK, USA, Australia and Canada) to understand your goals and confirm basic eligibility: applicants must be 18+, of good character with a clean criminal record, and able to demonstrate the lawful source of their contribution funds.
-
2
Engagement & FIU Clearance
Once you decide to proceed, an initial due-diligence fee is paid to begin the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) background screening. These are the same standard checks used across reputable citizenship-by-investment programmes worldwide.
-
3
Documentation & Submission
We help you gather and certify: passport copies, birth/marriage certificates, police clearance certificates, proof of address, proof of funds, and passport-style photographs. Once complete, we submit the file to the Vanuatu Citizenship Office together with the partial contribution deposit.
-
4
Review & Approval
The Vanuatu Citizenship Office and Commission independently reviews the application. Processing typically takes 30–60 days from a complete submission, among the fastest of any citizenship-by-investment programme globally.
-
5
Final Payment & Passport Issuance
Upon approval, the remaining contribution balance is paid, the oath of allegiance is completed, and your Vanuatu citizenship certificate and passport are issued. See our post-approval services for collection and legalization support.
